Same here. Don’t sell the LR @motojobobo .
Remember your upholstered bike seat project. Something like this will suit the landy well. -
Here's my take on a decent 4x4.
And my advice to @motojobobo is as well to not sell the classic. -

Didn’t the bring out an new version lately like LR did for the landy? -
A buddy of mine got himself the new Bronco…
…a beauty and a monster at acceleration! Put my FJ to shame trying to keep up with him. It has more electronic stuff than I care for, all that will be a nightmare to keep running out here; so I’ve decided an FJ is a better choice!

Ok, so here we go.
That's the one that started it all, 65 Mustang convertible, inline six. Got it for a decent price with my first real money I earned.
A few years later I wanted more and bought a 72 Mercury Comet GT, just like you should buy classics. Just by pictures, over the internet. In Sweden.
Took me two years to fully restore it, nowadays I'm too scared to drive it. 410 HP, 550NM. 347 Stroker with a five speed. The next one started as a party van project. That's when the kids started to get in the way. Again, near total restoration, but with three point seat belts all around. 1967 Econoline / Falcon Deluxe van.
Then came the Bronco, that got worked through mechanically, and also received a five speed as an upgrade.
Last one was a 1964 Falcon, which I didn't work on very much as of yet. Sealed the engine, rebuilt the transmission. Still to be licensed...

Thanks, guys. Here's two more for your entertainment - work in progress, so to speak.
The Comet in January 2010, half a year after I bought it. Got finished in 2012.
The van in March 2016, roughly five years after I got it. Slow progress, the kids got in the way... Was finally done in 2018.
