DWC - Denim World Championships 2015 - 2017

Thanks guys.
They are really comfortable and soft, such a difference compared to the last HWDC and the brutality of the 25oz. -
Anyone buy the DWC competition tshirt ? I just tried mine on. I usually wear large and ordered large but this one is huge. Just wondering if anyone else has had the same experience? I'll probably need to return it.
I've got mine today (blue) and it fit. One size smaller than usual but by using the measurements I got the correct size

Opinion required…..
I got an email this morning (well, last night) from a guy in the States who said that he would have loved to join the contest but as he isn't allowed to wear denim for work he felt that he wouldn't be able to do his jeans justice or have a chance of competing to win anything. He jokingly (I assume) said that we should consider having a "Weekend Warriors" division to the contest for people who have less time for their denim, or who want to add in a second pair for weekend wear only.
On a purely denim scientific level I would be interested to see what the evo looked like on part time worn jeans at the side of full time worn....what does everyone else think? If there was interest in this I could kick it off this week?

I say go for it. The more people involved the better.

I'm more of a weekend warrior myself but I'm also wearing 23oz. I think it would be a neat idea to have people tag themselves as such but I don't think it would be necessary to make a separate forum stage for it. Would I need to move to super heavyweight weekend warrior page? Would I just wear super heavy jeans and compete with the same guys who have lightweights? My personal opinion is that we should be tagged and when judging comes around, maybe there could be an honorable mention. There is also no way of verifying that the jeans were only worn 2 days a week. Someone could possibly game the system if they wore them more often than that.

@Megatron1505 gav, here's my thoughts. we all join this comp for an experience with denim. and to share our denim experience with other denim wearers.
it will depends if you have a prize for the weekend warrior group. if you don't then i don't think it's necessary as it's all about the experience. if you do, then perhaps it's a fair chance for those who are only weekend warriors to enter there and win something at the end of it. however, it's really hard to judge what constitutes weekend wearing. at the end of the day, you are surveilling them 24/7 and it's all up each individual to be honest about how ofthen they are wearing it.
at the end of the day, i feel this comp is about the experience of wearing denim and sharing it with other enthusiast. it doesn't matter if one wears it daily or on the weekends.

Read the Month One Review and browsed the site, well done DWC!
FYI, noticed that Naked & Famous and Tate + Yoko are still listed as being from Japan…

... Can't imagine Brandon would mind all that much though.

Some good looking people in these pics.
Things seem to be fading fast nizzle, looking good.
I've been at a new place for a week now, trying to get a routine going, but things are interesting here to say the least… I might end up switching place again in a week or so, we'll see, but I at least got my thread going over on the DWC site.
