@Giles when we went to Croatia pretty much everywhere had Apple Pay and other touchless device enabled point of sale. It’s taking much longer for this to proliferate here. I’m not sure why we're such luddites about financial technology here.
-
@mclaincausey we're behind most of the world in internet access, speed, and cost, just to mention another shortcoming. We're getting soaked

In our defence, the former soviet Bloc had spectacularly poor communications infrastructure and banking systems. When the wall came down, they skipped cheques (checks) and went straight to cards and because they had very poor network structures, they virtually skipped landlines for cellular. Not being tied to outdated technologies allows you to move quickly....

When I was in Morgantown visiting my brother, I ordered this alligator can koozie from a local leather crafter. It’s lined in neoprene and should last for many, many cans.
-
@Anesthetist damn that's classy...when a koozie is made out of alligator leather it think it has transcended the 'koozie' title - not sure what that new name may be...but this has made it to that promised land.
-
@Anesthetist Truly spectacular and would love any ordering info if available/possible.

Thank you @Inorganic @goosehd ,I am very happy with it. Also ordered one in buffalo for my wife. Nice quality pieces.
I’ll try to think of a better name for it

For me it depends on what I'm drinking, but I do slot my wallet in a koozie so that I am always prepared for whatever cans or bottles I may encounter.
-
@Matt I bet you they could. Send me a message if you want info

@Giles I usually do drink my beer from a pint glass but some craft beers taste better from a can
-
@Anesthetist For which styles did you find that to be true?
