New Balance

Super nice @jerkules
The quality on the Made in US pairs, and the fact you can usually wait and get them on sale, makes it tough for me to buy Nikes or really any other sneaker anymore
-
So true @october-rust , I’m going to keep my eyes open for some others on sale in autumn.
-
The made in England New Balance are also made really well
An old uni friend used to do the material buying back in the early 2000’s
Sure it was in Kendal in YorkshireI only remember as I went to visit once got there early so stopped at a pub and had too many by the time he finished so let him drive my car and he managed to put it through a safety barrier on some back road was only plastic so only dented the door

@jerkules 2 or 3 years - can't really figure out the pandemic years.
I had learned about them only when visiting the Red Wing store in Amsterdam some time prior. They were sold out everywhere, though. Managed to get my pair through eBay, some odd retailer selling off an unused customer return...The trousers are the IH-720-KHA. Need to get them hemmed after the first wash!

@tody Not sure if I've posted it before. those are fire. mines a little darker and thrashed now.. I believe it came out 2018/19

Been a big fan of the 996/997s. Here’s a little snippet of what I have in Singapore with me currently..
United arrows, Red Wings, Sneaker Freaker and Concepts (2014 oldest pair) collabs

I think they're great. I like the idea of new tech in earth tones. Wear them for actual runs.

@Matt colours and details are so nice but that sole unit.. :man-shrugging: :man-shrugging:
-
@Matt fuel cell sole
Is it battery or petrol
Colourway is nice but the physical shoe looks like a cross between those orthopaedic shoes for someone with a shorter leg they used to make years ago and a toddlers idea of a space shoe
To me they are 1000% worse than yeazeys and detest those more than crocs
