IHSB-BIGBUCK-BLK - Black Deerskin Western Shirt - The Big Buck

@xXclown86Xx fits like a glove man, love it

Does Iron Heart ever do leather shirting without the branding tag? I like to pretend I have other things than IH in my closet...
-
If the tag is made of the same material and is of the same color, that could work. It looks like this one isn't leather so not being able to completely remove the tag will probably be more obvious over time. Or you've tried it?
-
This tag on the pocket appears to be like any other tag on an IH shirt. It's a separate piece of fabric stitched on during the pocket construction. Cut the tag very close to both rows of stitching and then tease out any hanging on tag fibers so you can fully remove the tag. It takes 5 minutes with careful work. I have done this on one shirt I thought looked better without the tag.
-
Thanks. Maybe I'll try it on an older shirt to see how well I can finesse it off.
-
@corralitos Your tailor can do it too for peace of mind.

Are the black ones smaller than the olive ones? Just comparing the sizing charts between the two (mainly the XXL size for me) but the chest size is more than an inch larger on the Olive ones. Would you guys recommend sizing up for the black ones?
-
@Ed-Rekuc I am an XL in all of the leather shirts - I would follow the sizing charts. The pale rider is by far the tightest, but the best fitting, too.
-
@indigostiff Got ya thanks! Just made me nervous because the Olive fits me great, the black just looked a little smaller by comparison, but def helps!
-
@Ed-Rekuc The measurement charts are key (always). Do not go by tag size!!! Email the crew with your ideal measurements and they will assist you in finding your perfect fit: shop@ironheart.co.uk
-
@goosehd Yup thanks! Just wanted to see everyone opinion on it!
-
@pechelman cool, the more I think about it, this happens to denim shirts too. Just less dramatic. I showed my wife and she said it, "looks cool that way," haha, so there's that too. @goosehd this is just some wabi sabi, normal creasing, (below), correct?
-
@Oaktavia FWIW, I believe this is quite normal for the leather in question, especially having seen and felt it over the weekend (on you ).

Thanks Tobias, (
tell me your name again please) this makes perfect sense. Once the creases are set, they don't seem to be going anywhere. Just like the honeycomb elbow creases. Wearing it again to work today and loving it. -
Took a photo before I left while waiting for it to get pimped
