Why do some threads have guests being able to leave messages? Like shubharamani//Was it something that was a feature but has since been taken away.  Not sure why this has bugged me but I have to know lol

I believe most of those are people that are no longer registered as a member

Cheap, but very practical.  I may end up doing something like this.  Was curious to what other denim heads were doing out there.

When I run out of hangers I just hang them on the back of the door by the belt loops. Could use something like this:

I have a hard time believing that spending a few hours on the floor of my closet instead of hanging (only from the waist never from the hems… oh the horror!) is going to have any significant effect on the lifespan of my jeans.

I also can't take anything seriously when it comes from a website that advocates, under any circumstances, baking your jeans, rather than simply washing them.  Even when it costs $400+, it's still just denim, not the Shroud of Turin.

I have a mantra which I occasionally chant when people get overly serious about this shit…

toss them in the floor for overnight, in rotation just hang them from a beltloop, after wash fold in the closet.

Wash them regularly in washing machine (ain't that right Doug)

And forget about  all hype shit.

That reminds me-
Recently my jeans suffered an unfortunate accident that involved a diaper failure (let's just leave it at that).  After they dried, they weren't really very discolored and they don't smell too much.  So my dilemma is this- it's only been 18 months since I washed them last and I was really hoping to go 2 years.  Should I just spot clean them, or do you think it's ok to wait 6 months before I wash them?
