The officiating wasn’t egregious but the Ravens play calling was. There WAS a run game but they abandoned it. I think both RBs averaged over 6 YPC but they barely got any touches. It was weird to see them suddenly abandon their identity as a team that puts up a ton of rushing yards. This was a winnable game for them but terrible OC calls and a lack of disciplined gave that game away.

@mclaincausey exactly right

Played right into the Chief’s D strength of their defensive backfield instead of their vulnerable front. I’ll never understand that.

Going into the playoffs these were the two teams I would’ve least wanted in the Super Bowl, but damn that was a fun game(plus I hit on both my bets)

@october-rust What a game,I just had some boxes,but didn’t hit anything. I was real quiet all week, because as we’ve said the jinx is real.

I would’ve liked to see Purdy win just because of his story, but living in California I’ve found that 49ers fans are some of the most annoying I’ve come across- but even as a Vikings fan I have to admit I was pulling for the Lions!
Ended up putting a bet on the Chiefs +105 ML this morning just because I couldn’t believe they were the underdogs- they’re a completely different team in the playoffs and Mahomes just finds a way to get it done(and it seems like the NFL wanted them to win )

@Jett129 congratulations on the win. I didn’t have any skin in the game, but after all the work you have put into this thread over the season, I was pleased for you.
Just watch out for them Packers next year!

Great game! Not the outcome I was pulling for but can’t complain about the game itself.
How bout Kelce bodying Reid and getting in his face? That was incredibly shitty and disappointing.
Ads seemed disappointing too. The RFK Jr add was hilariously weird though. “I’m related to historic figures. Can I count on your vote?” What an absolute clown.

That guy. Phew.

Most consequential play of the game wasn’t even a play. Greenlaw collapsing as he tried to run on the field. That was the beginning of the end. Missing a PAT didn’t help the Niners either.

Saw Deion Sanders on a sports talk show last week, and when he was asked to pick the winner, in the end he said someone is going to make a mistake, a coach, a player, and that would determine the outcome. Well The Chiefs blocked an extra point and the 49ers fumbled a punt which led to a touchdown. That's 8 points right there,and combined with the players confusion about the playoff overtime rules,you loose the game. At least we're not debating the officiating.

Yeah the players and coaches decided all of this postseason’s games, much to my amazement and appreciation.
