S-Town (part of Serial) is a weird, dramatic and overall fantastic podcast!

@chrisjohnnick I like Staavy's World and Bad Friends but both are terribly stupid and I turn them off half of the time. The other half of the time I find them funny and entertaining on my long ride to and from work each day.

This one might have 2 strikes against it but I still enjoyed it
1st strike : might be too niche even for here
2nd strike: technically its political but it's cold war so hopefully statute of limitations applies? Was reminded of it when @scooter posted a scorpions tune a few days back
It, somewhat humorously, follows the theory that the song winds of change was actually a cia operation to aid in the fall of the iron curtain

I have been listening to Ologies with Alie Ward. She interviews different "ologists" during each episode. So far, I have enjoyed Erethizonology (PORCUPINES), Domestic Phytology (HOUSEPLANTS), Hippopotomology (HIPPOS), Ambystomology (AXOLOTLS … AND LIMB REGROWTH?), Witchology (WITCHES & WITCHCRAFT) and a few others. It is wholesome and educational, makes for a nice pod to listen to on my hour long commute back and forth from work.

Another shout out for the Dan Carlin - Hardcore History podcast.
If you've never listened to the series about Genghis Khan, you really should. It's immense. Carlin is so compelling with his narration and detail. Essential.
I guess I might as well admit I've been listening to Joe Rogan for what feels like 15 years. Certain topics, conversations I skip. Think Rogan has the ability to have a conversation with someone like it's the first time he's sat down to do a pod - so you get to play Rogan bingo with certain things he's probably repeated 1000 times. It's about his guests and he's had some crackers. Do love anything that breaks my brain: quantum physics, simulation theory.
I also love the comedian eps as I'm very much tethered to the US comedy scene and I'm obsessed with Kill Tony podcast (but via YouTube as it's really a visual watch). Also, anything MMA/UFC and I'm there too.
