Just got these franks boots type 2 highlanders in today. They are 8 inch in whickett and craig olive harness leather with antique hardware. I went with the white x v100 sole they are supposed to be softer than the regular v100 and good in cold conditions.
Sadly not running an Iron Heart piece saw this naked and famous jacket awhile back and had to have it. It is a green cast slubby 16oz denim. I am curious to see how it develops.
31 days of wear for the indigo invitational
Just put an order in for a size L from Iron Shop Provisions. Can't wait to try it on it. It looks like a beast of a shirt.
I don't know if this has been suggested or not but how about a type 3 or type 2 jacket in the 21 oz indigo × black fabric if there is any leftover fabric from when the jeans were made.
Found a used one of these on Ebay in my size so I scooped it up. This is my first western uhf the rest have all been work shirts and I got to say I really like the fit and the snaps.
I am in as well. I am going to pick the Eagles to beat the Patriots. I am so glad football is back!
@JunkPants thank you. Also, @Jcaz6996 I see you made it into the top 50 congrats you have my vote.
I think the main reason the dying is so expensive is because they are being hand dyed in the Tokushima prefecture. They are growing the indigo, fermenting it and dyeing it. From what I understand it is basically one of the most expensive ways to get something indigo dyed. However I was also disappointed in the pricing. I find the whole process cool but it is really hard to justify buying a tshirt that expensive.
