yeah i think i am going to get some pics of mine next week right at the last minute i might give them one more wash too i am not sure yet i washed them in december once already.

@Davids_denim I hear ya i have the same problem. I have a stockpile but I am going to go back to my last bridge pair (N&F MIJ10) after the competition. I have several picked out to wear for y5. I think I am going to go with a pair of black denim I haven't faded out a pair of black denim before.

@Davids_denim well done his look sick! Are you going to wear them in year 5 of the invitationaL? @Mizmazzle I have a pair of uhr in 888. I haven't worn them much but I really like them. The denim starts out so stiff pre soak I was a little intimidated but after a soak and a wash cycle to get all the shrink out they are super comfy.

@Mizmazzle yes the shearling in the pockets was a next level touch. I am blown away with the RJ-2.

Here we are as promised this jacket is a beast! Thanks again for the glowing review on the denim version from @Mizmazzle . His review really helped me decide to grab one when I could.

@the246guy You might be able to pull some the diesel fuel out with a paste made with baking soda and water. Apply it to the areas and rub in and then wipe off with a damp rag. I got some brake fluid on a pair of boots and this helped some. It probably would be a good idea to condition the boots after this. Or you could embrace the wabi sabi.

@Inorganic your length and width can fluctuate with your weight as well. The heavier you are the more your foot flattens out and gets wider. So for example: I put on 20lbs over the course of 6months I may need to go up a half size, up a width or both.

I got my RJ-2 in the other day. This thing is a beast! When I get time to take pics I will upload them.

how about more cold weather gear like waffle thermals in merino wool and insulated 17oz duck bibs?

@Crispy-Heron That is awesome you were able to grab one even if you did not get a discount. I am still waiting for mine to ship but I think it is being delayed because I ordered a pair of Portola cut jeans as well and asked for hemming. I will share the blame with @Mizmazzle though he definitely persuaded me with his glowing reviews in past of the jacket and sweet fits he puts together with it.

@Crispy-Heron That is unfortunate it looks like they changed the discount code the code I used was EARLYBF24 . Maybe they only allowed it on the first day or maybe they didn't intend to include them and that is why they changed the code?

@Crispy-Heron No luckily I am based out of the USA so I didn't have to pay import duties.

@Crispy-Heron I know @Mizmazzle has the indigo denim version. I was on the fence with the Olive and the black denim but I already have a sherpa lined black denim jacket from Bravestar so I went with the olive for more variety.

I just pulled the trigger on an RJ-2. They just restocked them and added more 20oz canvas versions. I went with the 20oz olive canvas. The best part is they are also doing an early black Friday sale so I got 20% off. Pics will be coming once it arrives.
