That Wookie dude was rad. I loved the Boba Fett series and it tied into the Mando show. What's not to like?

Local denim makers here in Nashville, Imogene + Willie, hosted a Pinewood Derby race in their backyard on Thursday night. I entered on a whim and won first place.

Also, when naming and painting my car, I learned that there were different spelling of Selvage and Selvedge depending on the country. The more you know!

Nice work! My grandpa’s used to take turns helping us with our cars. My Mom’s Dad made wedge cars like yours that won speed medals. My Dad’s Pop made little Lambos or Ferrari’s that won best in show but made it down the track in what felt like minutes after everyone else’s

They also had a Best in Show and a Worst in Show category for the competition as well. There were 64 racers total. Wish I would have taken more photos of the other cars and the event, but they had photographers and videographers for the event doing all that. Can't wait to see all of that stuff when they post it all!

I haven't made a derby car since my scouting days in the mid to late 90's. Definitely didn't win any races back then, but didn't know all the secrets and tricks that I learned when building this one.

I did a little looking into this guy and have watched a few of his tool reviews on youtube many years ago. Not sure what happened between then and now but it's not good. He's got loads of IH stuff as you can see in a lot of his more recent youtube thumbnails.
