@Mizmazzle I don’t know what was considered the previous worst deal in NFL hIstory,but this beats it by a mile. They had to have really hated him to pay all this money and let him walk.
-
Wow I wound not have guessed Derrick Henry would become a Raven.

@Mizmazzle yah. Wild

You gotta remember we’re the last ones to hear the news. They knew they couldn’t keep Gus Edward’s so they’ve been working on their list for a while. He’s 30 and has been in decline but could be coached up by an historic running offense so they get potential in a big name 3rd down back for less money. They always expect to lose most of their free agents so they try to pay the ones with the most upside, let the rest shop around and cultivate young guys that they’ve scouted the hell out of. I don’t expect to see much more out of them in free agency.

I can’t believe we got Russell Wilson for a million bucks. Denver took the L. Even if it doesn’t work out, it doesn’t matter. Hopefully we can use our offensive weapons now

@Jett129 IMO the worst deal in NFL history is The Vikings trading for Hershel walker. It turned The cowboys into a powerhouse for most of the 90's and Walker flopped.
I will say in more recent memory the Browns fully guaranteeing D. Watson $200+ million was a terrible financial decision.
-
I can’t believe Green Bay think they will be better without Aaron Jones next season.
-
What a Masshole

@jordanscollected yeah I’d say those are consensus picks for worst deals of their eras. The Russell Wilson deal is similar but without the moral baggage. In both recent cases, futures were mortgaged on pipe dreams and they gave up WAY more than they needed to / should have, and in both cases they had the pieces to mount playoff runs had they not tanked their team with those decisions.
Russell Wilson is a pretty pathetic lil diva too. Not a good locker room guy at all.

Diehard Pats fan from back when it was Foxboro Stadium. This was more refreshing than a Fresca
