@joephoto I'm an XL in iron heart shirts and I went for a large in this vest. I really like how it fits but It only works if the under shirt is tucked in. The length of the vest is another important factor for people. You can see how mine sits at or a little above the belt line showing my belt buckle. If you look back one previous page in this post you can see @Daniel-Sans fit is a little roomier and the bottom hangs over his belt line (i think he went with the same vest size as his typical shirt size). I think both fits work visually and it comes down to personal preference. sizing down would prove more difficult if you have a larger beer belly, but the construction of the vest doesn't taper at the waist so for me a neat fit in the chest works in the belly too even though i have some extra lb's in the midsection.

@jordanscollected thanks Jordan. I’m not a V shape. So vest same size as shirt or above might work. As the XXXL is sold out I’ll try the XXXXL

Such a great piece. I’ve been wearing this more and more lately and it’s becoming a favorite.

Recently I purchased my first denim style vest. Indigo/Duck Wabash. The fit is just about perfect with the cinch pulled tight. I'm sure it will be loser when I'm layering a bit more. My question is on the cinch itself. Ive never used one like it and I don't think I'm using it right. I get it to tighten but with wear it loosens up. Each time I take it off I need to redo the cinch. I'll keep playing with it but maybe it's just the way it is? Thanks!

@CosmoSix5 I have moved you post to here. Please let me know if this is the correct version of the vest that you are inquiring about.
Can you post a picture of the back cinch and how it is currently routed? Might help to see if something is not quite right?
Thank you.

@CosmoSix5 Fantastic and glad that it’s sorted out.

Sorry, but the anally retentive pedant that I am couldn't let this go.
