Where do we report issues with the new forum?
-
Not so much an issue but a question. When an item has been sold in the buying and selling section do we still make a reply that says to close the post? I ask because I think I saw that we can delete the post we made. I was just thinking that after the member sells something he/she can just delete the original post? I just want to make sure I’m doing it correctly.

@deanclean What I’ve been doing is locking the post once the item has been sold and deleting it about a month later. I do this in case questions arise from either party related to the transaction.
-
@deanclean …and to clarify, Yes please mark your post/item as sold so that I can lock it and delete when necessary. If you have sold your item outside of the IH Marketplace, you can delete the post yourself and I will clean it up at a future date.

Ok. Thanks @goosehd that makes sense. Thanks.

Its hard to keep the timeline straight. Filtering from new to old and old to new is also confusing.

@AdamJ I'm getting the hang of it now. For some reason my page opens at the bottom and scrolling up was a constant refresh. It's working fine now.

I think some of the sub categories could use a reorganization and clean up.
I find myself puzzled to find some topics I want to post in, and I end up having to browse for them for awhile.
That concludes my vague statement.

@jordanscollected and you cannot find them with the search function? Because you don’t recall the name of the thread, or?

I really like the new forum architecture.
My only issue is that when I scroll down through a long thread, it jumps down and skips a chunk of the page …. I have to keep track of where I was and scroll back up. If that makes sense. Not really a big deal just a nuisance.
Nice work overall!

Same issue with scrolling on the iPad, no problem when scrolling with the IPhone

This happens on my iPhone.

@AdamJ many thanks Adam. It’s a minor issue at best, but your efforts are appreciated!

Add another to the jumping around. Super annoying. Happens on iPad/chrome does it basically all the time when scrolling.

I’m glad the jumping around has been mentioned. It makes browsing threads with more photos a bit of a hassle. I’ve found that it happens on all browsers, Safari, Chrome, and Firefox across all iOS & iPadOS updates. My thoughts are that it has to do with the photos loading inside the particular posts. If one work around could be suggested. A toggle or setting to “load all images first” in a thread. I’d wait any amount of time longer to not lose my place while scrolling. I do hope this is resolved, especially for the threads with many posts as it seems to happen mostly on those
