Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?

Our plan 2 or 3 years ago was to do every colour in every style of sweatshirt. Given how many gaps we have in what that line-up would have looked like, I think you can see the magnitude of our production bottlenecks....And yes, that was one of Haraki's favourite designs as it was perfect as a mid-layer for riding, with no collar to interfere with either the collar of the outer layer or the helmet....
I guess I can only hope that it makes a sneak appearance back into the line up at some point.
It just works so well as a mid layer as you say, or even over a tee as a sweater. Doesn’t interfere with a ponytail

@DaelMartinez no plans atm
-
@endo yeah, this has been on the want to do list for a while.
We need to migrate main site to a new back end platform, this work has started and we should migrate in July, then we will need to chill out on tech investment for a while after the migration.
After that, we would def be keen to dig into this idea more

@DeeDee85 3rd'd.

If this were made in brown leather, my drool down the front of it would never dry.

since buying a pair of 1955's from @Giles personal collection, I feel like I found the perfect cut (it's even better for me then the 888) But this raises the question: why are there not more denim variations available in this fit? I would love some 1955S-SBG or something 14oz for summer
Also, why is there no black warp white weft denim?
-
@scarfmace the 1955 cut is not more broadly popular so making more cuts would not be cost effective.
Same with the black/white denim. They tried it once and it didn’t sell well.
-
@scarfmace I bought the 21OZ Black/White denim in the 634 and 555 cuts because I liked it so much. Posted some pictures somewhere recently.
-
the 1955S sold out in like 5sec last week

we are acutely aware of this

@Alex I've done some searching with regards of the 21BLK (black/beige) and you mentioned you still have a lot of denim left, why don't you put it in the 1955 cut? to me the Black/beige look has always had a more vintage vibe then double black, so the 1955 cut would be perfect for it.
-
@scarfmace i hear you, but using one of the least popular denims we have made recently in our least (except for bootcuts) popular jeans seems like a bit of a high risk project to shove into overfilled factories
-
@Alex call it 'the thing that should not be'
-
another vote for a non-scratchy version of an IH Shawl Cardigan.
-
@pechelman i can't see us making one from something other than our sweat material, and I'm not sure how well that would work, but worth a little thought..

I would love (and pay good money for) an oiled whipcord parka - sort of like the m51 field coat but with a bit more of a parka style with the fur hood, and lined with the alpaca.
-
Also would love a whipcord, sherpa/fleece lined modified type III in the IHJ 116 style
-
And finally a leather version of the iron heart N1......a bit like what y2 leather do, but with the cut/style of the iron heart N1 (which i think is perfect)
obviously probably all incredibly expensive to do, but would be amazing!

Given cpo style pockets are a no go on a leather shirt, how about a chore styled shacket type thing cut closer to a shirt rather than the chore coats are now? The sewn on patch pockets should be no big deal? Preferably in black big buck or whatever new leather will be the pale rider.
