@RobeOfTheMagi Great feeling
Yesterday I realised I could still solve a Rubik's Cube after around five years of not picking one up, once you know how to do it, it's just muscle memory I guess! -
@T4920 it’s the small things in life <3.

@Brian
The most common method (which I'm confident that absolutely anyone can learn in 4/5 hours if they're so inclined) involves memorizing a sequence of 7 movements that can be used to incrementally put the coloured pieces in the rights patterns/places. Once you know these movements, and the order in which the patterns must be constructed, any combination can be solved with ease.The method used by the 'pros' however, is a completely different story. They assign a numerical value to each of the nine pieces on each side of the cube, and conduct insanely complex mathematical equations to work out the minimum number of movements required to solve the puzzle.
I use the first method
A video guide like this is all you need if you wanna show off to your son!

“I t-boned him” is not a term I’m familiar with but too nervous to google for fear of what it throws up and my wife decides to check my search history! -
@IrishHeart Taken from the internet:
A t-bone accident occurs when the front of one vehicle strikes the side of another, forming the shape of a “T” at the point of impact.
-
My wife would be thrilled to see t-boning in my search history. Anything other than the IH shopping cart for clarification

Hi Reuben,I am so relieved your ‚Sale‘ is over!
Watched it a ton in the last weeks and often thought to pull the trigger… but I was holding back for some reasons.
Why?
In all those years we forummembers where constantly connected through an IH-STUFFCHANGE!
As I own two IH garments bought from you years ago…
…some of your new buyers and hopefully some more folks are motivated to read through your retrospektive.What a beautiful job you’ve done for this forum!
Thanks -
Ha! You of all people are always free to dm me, sales thread or not
It was a pleasure to move stuff on to forum friends old and new.
I’m moving into a new, bigger place in the summer and will be opening another box of stored Iron Heart then. Sure to be something there for you @Aetas

@steelworker Thanks for making me laugh and smile

Two Brits and a Kraut - more than 40 years of friendship. Spent the weekend with two old friends from the UK. We first met in the early 80s via school exchange, when we were 14 (!). Partied through the 80s, hitchhiked all over Europe in the 90s. They lived in Germany for some time and me in England. Later got jobs, married, kids ... but still met every few years. Now, when we meet it's a bit like been 14 again. Love these guys.
