New Balance

@jerkules I have a pair and got the same size I've gotten in all my other 990s. Feel like it's still a good size. Sorry if that makes it more confusing!

Nah that helps a lot @mumonkey72 thanks for the input. Consensus seemed pretty split on the usual places like Reddit. My V3s feel great, my V2s are maybe a little slim, but I’ve just gone for my usual size.

Picked up a pair to see what the fuss is about. .......Hopefully they break in.
Had these MIUK 576 now for almost exactly 3 months, part of which included a bunch of walking/hiking on a long trip to Japan. The heel pocket slip noted calmed down a bunch as the stiff sole relaxed. Also surprising was how much the area right over the toes loosened up as the midsole has conformed to my foot. For sneakers these sure broke in a bunch compared to some other modern ones and they took quite a bit of time too. It wasnt until after Japan and many 20k step days did I notice any difference in their fit.
Anyway, generally I'm impressed with these things. They feel like they'll last a good long while compared to other casual/fashion type sneakers.

@mikebarhoot those are great. Are those this years Grey Day release? I have the v4 and love them.

Not sure if I have posted these shoe up here already? They are a nice gore tex pair of winter shoe/boots made by New Balance in collaboration with the Japanese company Snow Peak and the Tokyo design studio (whoever they are??). Heady to to Norway this coming week to start a new job so these will come in handy for the snow.

no idea @Matt. lol. weird for me but i needed, walked into the store, they had my size so i bought.
i did notice all the models now don’t come in .5 sizes above 11.5. so they’ve adjusted their sizing somewhat because these are 12s and the 13s were too big. ️

should’ve said ive always worn 12.5 in NB.

Nothing fancy but I do appreciate the classics.
