IHDR-502-OLV - 11oz Cotton Whipcord Cargo Pants - Olive
-
@sabergirl i missed that news about the cut…it does sound perfect!
-
Is this the same material from the olive whipcord cargo shorts? Thanks!

They are both whipcord.
In terms of weight the pants are heavier:
- IH-726-OLV = 7.4oz
- IHDR-502-OLV = 11oz
They are also not the same color; I have both, and can confirm the website pictures are accurate. The shorts are more green and the pants are more brown.

I wanna give my props to Ross Phillips from the IH crew. He helped pick the absolute best fiting pants i own . They showed up today. Put them on and perfection!! Thank you man. Tag 38 was definitely the right call!

I have the same feeling with mine! And that’s a huge statement because I own 9!! Cannot wait to see your fit pics and the arrival of the colder months to start wearing them!!

Thanks guys. I will post some fit picks later today. In retrospect i regret not getting the 14oz ib cargos that came out a while back and now tag 38 is gone.! I love the fit on the cargos more than ever 8magined i would.

Incoming. I went really careful on the waist measurement and leaned toward "too big" as suggested by Graham. Zero stretch and sitting down could be uncomfortable if I got too close to perfect in the waist.

What does "Olive" mean to you?
Shipment just in. I own the whipcord alpaca lined vest, but I was still caught off guard by how heavyweight these feel. The bag was so heavy I thought Graham had sent me a full pound of GAH silver in my package. It was just the pants. I hemmed them long on purpose as I like the cuffed look on the cargo pants.
The triple stitching on the inseam and the outside seam only add to the rigidity of these.
damn, how does Iron Heart continue to pleasantly surprise me?

@jordanscollected You are going to love those pants for the Minnesota winter.
-
damn no doubt Dennis. I'll be sporting the whipcord tux.
-
@jordanscollected They look awesome and the fit is spot on. Nice!

It will be awesome for blocking the winter winds…I don't know if you notice it, but it seems like the wind is always blowing there. It's one of the things I first noticed when I moved there.
When I lived there, I would ride my motorcycle south of the cities around Faribault, Red Wing, and Prescott and the winds could sometimes be fierce. Those pants would have been awesome for riding!

Iron Heart Minnesota (not a real place) here with a quick PSA re: these whipcord cargos.
It's 34 degrees today, sunny and a bit windy. It's an interesting temp in Minnesota where you will see people outside wearing anything from slender ladies in full snowmobile suits, to basement dwelling mouth breathing overweight men in shorts and t-shirts.
I, having fairly recently developed a decent fashion sense am wearing Iron Heart, including the recently acquired IHDR cargo's.
For anyone with a "few" bucks to spare and who lives in a cooler climate should jump on these pants. They are warm and absolutely windproof. I will be wearing these a ton this winter, they are an engineering marvel.
TLDR: buy these
