IH-888S-UHR - 21/23oz Ultra Heavy Raw Selvedge Denim High Rise Tapered Cut Jeans
-
Snatched up the last pair available in my size, sized down one from my normal 30 in an 888.
Challenge accepted, UHR. You shall be biked to work.
-
@drewfonse hell yeah!!
-
I hear ya. If they shrink an inch, I should be good after wearing and stretching. I may warm instead of hot soak and then cold wash if they fit a little too well initially.
-
Bad pics, apologies.
I decided on the 29, one size smaller than my normal 888. Glad I did. I ended up cold soaking and cold washing. I know I may run in to a little more shrinkage, but I’ll keep the water cold with these. They fit well. Same slightly balloon-y front crotch area until it relaxes. I love em. And yeah, after the soak, preposterously stiff haha. Like buttoning up cardboard. Needle nose pliers were a godsend!

Considering the weight and sheer toughness, they feel really good. I’ll probably get another 3/4” taken off of length
-
@Graham any 633s headed to SelfEdge? I need to try out what the UHR hype is all about after 10 years with the IH brand.
-
@motojobobo To date, there have been no 633's in UHR. May have changed though.
-
The sizing chart has been updated and can now be found in the first post here.
Please be aware you may not be able to view the product’s website page leading up to launch, as it will be briefly offline whilst we prepare for the release which will be confirmed soon and updated on here. -
When are these restocking? I am assuming fairly soon since the size chart has been updated?
-
@pmadison95 In the next week or so. Launch date will be announced next Tues
-
@AdamJ thanks for the quick reply/update.

Story time
Last year I received a pair of 888-UHR as a gift from @Memphisakers and it actually started a short lived topic called 'the filthy gift' where you give away an item and the person who wants it also gifts an item etc. in Memoriam of late forum legend Mike.
Fast forward about 18 months of almost continuous wear and 3 soaks. Hope I made Mike proud
I could tell by the color of the water, that this would be a good soak.
The coulor after the rinse is like perfect blueThis is where I'm at:
I'll be sending em back to IH for a hem and will take a picture under natural light once I get 'em back, these pictures don't to this pair justice

@scarfmace dude hell yeah these look fantastic
-
@scarfmace fantastic, and thank you for sharing your story! I finally soaked my UHR a couple weeks back, I also had tub filled with perfect blue water. Weather is finally out of triple digits. Yesterday was day 1.
